Sound familiar?

It's 10:14 pm. The cushion is shredded.

He pulled on the lead for the whole walk.
He didn't come back the three times you called him.
He turned his nose up at his bowl, then stole your bread.
He's tearing around the living room at 10 pm, the evening "zoomies".
You shout, then you feel guilty.
You love him. You're exhausted. And a small voice asks if you're doing it wrong.

No. Your dog didn't turn mean. He turned teenager. You don't get through that season by shouting louder: you get through it by digging a bed. "You don't tame a river. You dig it a bed."

In thirty days

What will have changed.

A dog who knows how to stop

A mat, a word, and the excitement settles instead of climbing. Calm isn't a personality trait: it's a skill you train.

An untouched home

The need to chew has a place, objects and a schedule. Your shoes are no longer part of it.

A recall that comes back

Built through joy, worked on a long line, tested when another dog walks by.

And you

Fewer shouts, less guilt, and a method to follow on the days you've got no energy left.

The method

Four beats, three rules.

Every chapter follows exactly the same path. You always know where you are.

01

A picture

To understand at a single glance.

02

A story

True or almost, with Ash, to make you smile.

03

A method

To act, step by step.

04

A mini-challenge

To try tonight.

1

Consistency before intensity

Three small calm sessions beat one big exhausting one.

2

Zero punishment after the fact

Your dog doesn't link your anger to the mischief of ten minutes ago. He links your anger to you.

3

When in doubt, the vet

This book is about training, not medicine. Cheat-sheet 1 helps you decide.

Our advice: this book first, to understand and act, and a qualified professional on top if something worries you or nothing moves.

Ash, Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Who wrote it?

A family, a blue Staffy, 55 m².

We are not certified dog trainers. We are passionate owners who watched a lot, tried a lot, failed a lot and laughed a lot. Ash is a blue Staffy born on December 3, 2025, who arrived at eight weeks old.

To write this book, we checked our hunches against what veterinary behaviourists say (AVSAB, Cornell University, American Kennel Club). What we found reassured us: what works best is also the gentlest.

An honest promise

What this book will, and won't, do.

It will

  • Help you understand why your teenage dog overflows
  • Give you a simple method, chapter by chapter
  • Offer a 14-day programme to get started
  • Tell you when to call a vet

It won't

  • Use shouting, punishment or arm-wrestling
  • Replace your vet, a trainer or a behaviourist
  • Promise the same result for every dog

Questions

Before you start.

How do I get the book?

Right after payment, a download link appears and you receive your PDF by e-mail, cheat-sheets included. Remember to check your spam folder.

My dog isn't a Staffy. Does it work?

Yes. Ash is a Staffy, but the methods suit all dogs.

How much time a day?

The starter programme takes 10 minutes a day for 14 days, one thing at a time.

What if I skip a day?

You pick up where you were: this programme can't be failed, only shifted.

I only have ten minutes tonight. Where do I start?

With chapter 3, the treasure hunt. It's the move that changes the most, the fastest, for the least effort.

My dog is over one year old. Is it still for us?

The book is designed for the adolescent period, but calm on the mat, recall and chewing management help dogs of any age.

I don't know if it's normal or if I should see a vet.

Cheat-sheet 1, "Normal or vet?", is a common-sense guide, not a diagnosis. When in doubt, call your vet: better one call too many than one too few.

Does it replace a vet?

No. This book is about training, not medicine. If your dog is in pain or behaves in a way that worries you, see a professional.

Is it available in other languages?

Yes: French, English, Spanish, German and Italian. Choose the language of the PDF just before you buy.
