Doga, yoga with your dog, Book 2: 3D cover render

Doga blends simple yoga poses, breathing and moments of contact with your dog. You don't need to be flexible or experienced: the goal is not performance, it is the calm time you share.

The best moment of doga is when your dog chooses to stay close to you, without being asked.

5 tips to start gently

  1. Pick a calm moment

After a walk, when the house is quiet. A very excited or hungry dog will struggle to settle.

  2. Start with the shared breath

Sit next to him, breathe slowly, rest a hand near him without forcing him to stay. Dogs quickly sync with our rhythm.

  3. Never force a pose

The dog can leave whenever he wants. If he walks away, that is information: stop, and try again later, more gently.

  4. Learn to read his signals

Relaxed, uneasy or stressed: his body tells you. Watching before acting makes every session more pleasant for both of you.

  5. Keep sessions short

A few minutes are enough at first. A short regular session beats a long one he endures, and always finish on a pleasant note.
