Sound familiar?
It's 10:14 pm. The cushion is shredded.
No. Your dog didn't turn mean. He turned teenager. You don't get through that season by shouting louder: you get through it by digging a bed. "You don't tame a river. You dig it a bed."
Quick test · 30 seconds
Does this sound like your dog?
Tick everything that applies. Nobody sees your answers: they stay on your screen.
If you only have ten minutes tonight: chapter 3, the treasure hunt. It's the move that changes the most, the fastest, for the least effort.
One problem, one solution
Every situation has its answer in the book.
In thirty days
What will have changed.
A dog who knows how to stop
A mat, a word, and the excitement settles instead of climbing. Calm isn't a personality trait: it's a skill you train.
An untouched home
The need to chew has a place, objects and a schedule. Your shoes are no longer part of it.
A recall that comes back
Built through joy, worked on a long line, tested when another dog walks by.
And you
Fewer shouts, less guilt, and a method to follow on the days you've got no energy left.
The method
Four beats, three rules.
Every chapter follows exactly the same path. You always know where you are.
A picture
To understand at a single glance.
A story
True or almost, with Ash, to make you smile.
A method
To act, step by step.
A mini-challenge
To try tonight.
Consistency before intensity
Three small calm sessions beat one big exhausting one.
Zero punishment after the fact
Your dog doesn't link your anger to the mischief of ten minutes ago. He links your anger to you.
When in doubt, the vet
This book is about training, not medicine. Cheat-sheet 1 helps you decide.

Contents
Eleven chapters, one bonus, zero shouting.
You don't have to read in order. The "Where to start" page sends you straight to the right chapter. Here's what you'll be able to do by the end of each one.
Why your dog changed overnight, and where to dig first.
Keep going without shouting, even on the night when everything goes wrong.
Really tire your dog out in twenty minutes, without running a mile.
Teach him to stop on cue, at home and elsewhere.
Get through the second chewing phase without losing a piece of furniture.
Rebuild a recall that holds, even when another dog walks by.
Install house-training in two weeks, and react when it slips back.
Get out of the chicken blackmail without starving anyone.
Recognise contact, react within three minutes, and above all avoid it.
Go the distance without exhausting yourself or feeling guilty.
Make peace with what you'll never control.
Turn a small flat into a big playground.
The starter programme
14 days, one thing a day.
Ten minutes. If you skip a day, you pick up where you were: this programme can't be failed, only shifted.
Observe
The river notebook: when he gets agitated, what came before. We change nothing.
The mat
Put down the mat, then three seconds of calm. We reward the sigh.
The sniff walk
The sniff walk, then the first stuffed toy from the freezer.
Review
Three questions: what worked best?
The recall
Ten easy recalls at home, then outside on a ten-metre line.
Real life
Mealtime becomes a game, life around the mat, a first distraction.
Pure joy
The "yes" day, then a moment with no goal. And on day 15, you start again.
Everything you get
A complete guide, not just a book.
The book: 11 chapters + 1 bonus
From the river of adolescence to recall, calm, house-training and flat life.
The "Where to start" page
Find the sentence that sounds like your week, go to that chapter, apply it tonight.
The 14-day programme
One thing a day, ten minutes. A 30-day tracking chart to stay on course.
7 practical cheat-sheets to printIncluded

Our advice: this book first, to understand and act, and a qualified professional on top if something worries you or nothing moves.

Who wrote it?
A family, a blue Staffy, 55 m².
We are not certified dog trainers. We are passionate owners who watched a lot, tried a lot, failed a lot and laughed a lot. Ash is a blue Staffy born on December 3, 2025, who arrived at eight weeks old.
To write this book, we checked our hunches against what veterinary behaviourists say (AVSAB, Cornell University, American Kennel Club). What we found reassured us: what works best is also the gentlest.
An honest promise
What this book will, and won't, do.
It will
- Help you understand why your teenage dog overflows
- Give you a simple method, chapter by chapter
- Offer a 14-day programme to get started
- Tell you when to call a vet
It won't
- Use shouting, punishment or arm-wrestling
- Replace your vet, a trainer or a behaviourist
- Promise the same result for every dog

Questions
Before you start.
How do I get the book?
Right after payment, a download link appears and you receive your PDF by e-mail, cheat-sheets included. Remember to check your spam folder.
My dog isn't a Staffy. Does it work?
Yes. Ash is a Staffy, but the methods suit all dogs.
How much time a day?
The starter programme takes 10 minutes a day for 14 days, one thing at a time.
What if I skip a day?
You pick up where you were: this programme can't be failed, only shifted.
I only have ten minutes tonight. Where do I start?
With chapter 3, the treasure hunt. It's the move that changes the most, the fastest, for the least effort.
My dog is over one year old. Is it still for us?
The book is designed for the adolescent period, but calm on the mat, recall and chewing management help dogs of any age.
I don't know if it's normal or if I should see a vet.
Cheat-sheet 1, "Normal or vet?", is a common-sense guide, not a diagnosis. When in doubt, call your vet: better one call too many than one too few.
Does it replace a vet?
No. This book is about training, not medicine. If your dog is in pain or behaves in a way that worries you, see a professional.
Is it available in other languages?
Yes: French, English, Spanish, German and Italian. Choose the language of the PDF just before you buy.
